 Ashley Taylor – an Army Veteran who is the Chief Grants Officer & Veteran Advocacy for Operation Red Wings Foundation. Ashley has worked in veteran mental health for the past eight years, working in Texas with the Texas Veterans Commission’s Veteran Mental Health Department, and currently in Oregon with ORW Foundation. She has a passion for helping veterans access mental health services and training community partners on facts surrounding veteran services as well as veteran suicide and suicide prevention. Ashley is an active member with the VFW and the American Legion. She currently resides in Columbia County with her husband who is an Army Veteran and their son. 

 Sean Davis is the author of The Wax Bullet War, a Purple Heart Iraq War veteran, and the winner of the Legionnaire of the Year Award from the American Legion in 2015 and the recipient of the Emily Gottfried Emerging Leader, Human Rights award for 2016. For his work with veterans in the Portland area, the Royal Rosarians knighted him in 2016. He has a Bachelors in English from Portland State University and a Masters in Writing from Pacific University. His stories, essays, and articles have appeared in the Ted Talk Book The Misfit’s Manifesto (Simon and Schuster), Forest Avenue Press anthology City of Weird, Sixty Minutes, Story Corps, Flaunt Magazine, The Big Smoke, Human the movie, and much more. He worked as a military advisor for stage plays at the Portland Armory, Portland Center Stage, Profile Theater and more.  Vicki Horn – a Marine Corps veteran who served from 89-94. She supervises the Washington County’s Veteran Services Office. Vicki has held this position since October of 2013 and is an accredited Veteran Service Officer. She serves as the Vice-President of the Oregon County Veteran Service Officer Association and the Treasure of the Oregon Firearm Safety Coalition.  Vicki is committed to serving our veteran community, by developing services in her community and the surrounding areas. A native Oregonian, Vicki resides in Forest Grove with her husband.  

 DM Drucker: Co-Founder and President - Oregon Firearm Safety Coalition, Co-Founder - National Firearm Suicide Prevention Collaboration, Co-chair - Lethal Means workgroup for Oregon's Youth Suicide Intervention and Prevention Plan, Co-coordinator - Together With Veterans Rural Veteran Suicide Prevention, Counseling On Access To Lethal Means trainer, Question Persuade Refer trainer. Area of expertise: Bridging the divide between firearm ownership and suicide prevention.

Nicholas Torres is the Veterans Services Officer for Tillamook County and the Veterans Service Officer for the local VFW. He grew up in Northwestern Pennsylvania and enlisted in the United States Army at the age of nineteen. He served eight years as an Infantryman. He deployed to Afghanistan in 2009-2010

and was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge, Two Army Commendation Medals, and the Afghanistan Campaign Medal.

After leaving the Army in 2014 he worked in the lumber mill industry while pursuing his business degree at Oregon State University. He worked as a Veterans Services Coordinator for seven months under William Hatton.

He has a wife and two sons. They regularly attend the Tillamook Nazarene Church and participate in local community events. When not at work, they enjoy spending time outdoors and watching their kids’ sporting events.
