TWV – NW Oregon started operating in 2021 as part of a nation-wide effort funded by the Veterans Administrations Office of Rural Health. Regional coverage is Columbia, Clatsop, and Tillamook counties, with the goal of spreading statewide after the first three years.
We are a collaborative organization made up of expert veteran advocates who have one goal, saving veterans lives. Our main goal is to reduce and end veteran suicide in Oregon. How is this accomplished? By utilizing our team’s years of experience working in the veteran service space. By collaborating with community partners who want to join our fight. By following current suicide prevention trends. We strive to use innovative approaches that enhance awareness of resources and break the stigma associated with accessing care for mental health needs and experiences with suicide. If you’d like to get involved and join our fight, check out our upcoming events or contact us to set-up a meeting.
